Dear Parents and Guardians:
Blessings to all of you and your families! As we work to restore in-person Sunday school, we hope to build up our youth attendance and participation. We will be following pandemic protocols that match the school district’s as much as we can: wearing masks (ages 4 and up), using hand sanitizer, and doing a lot of cleaning. Of course, this may change as our community’s situation changes. We hope to keep everyone healthy and safe while we learn together. Please contact me for a registration slip for each child.
This year we are embarking on a new curriculum, The Story. The same basic Bible topics will be covered by all classes. At this point we do not have any set classes or age groups; these will be determined by student registration and the availability of teacher and helpers. If you are interested in becoming a teacher, substitute teacher, or class helper, please let me know.
While we explore God’s word in Sunday school, we encourage you to extend that exploration to your home. The adult class will be following the same topics as the children’s classes. Share your own love of the Word with your children, talk about what you are learning, and allow your children time to freely talk about and ask questions about what is being learned. A weekly parents’ page will go home with each student to give you a jumping-off point for discussion and retelling of The Story.
