Study guides are available on the table by the sanctuary door, next to the bulletins.  Drop-ins are always welcome.

On Sunday the 19th after worship St. Paul will be hosting a SPAM Potluck. Yes, that’s right – a SPAM potluck! We simply ask that all dishes brought in contain SPAM.

After the potluck, we will be making blessing bags for this Saturday’s blessing event.  Many hands make light work!

This meeting is held in the small classroom in Springhill Hall (opposite the kitchen).  NOTE: A.A. meetings will be held in the Fireside Room in the church building until further notice due to renovations in Springhill Hall.  Come on in–there’s coffee!

The book club will discuss American Dirt by Jeanine Cummins. (This is a change from the previously published booklist.) The March book club meeting will be held at the Barker residence, 3848 Woodland Drive. For more information about the club, contact Lynn Devlin at jldevlin@gci.net.

Everyone is welcome to join us on Wednesday mornings at 7:00 a.m. for prayer and breakfast.  Gather with others in Springhill Hall (just behind the main church building) to pray for our church, for our community, and for lifting up the needs of others.  Anyone is welcome to cook!  Setup for breakfast begins at 6:00.

Returning to a pre-Covid tradition, St. Paul and St. James the Fisherman Episcopal Church are joining in a common Wednesday night supper and worship service whose theme is “The Attributes of Lent.”

St. James will host in their parish hall at 421 Thorsheim Street (uphill from McDonald’s and the Shelikof Lodge) on March 1st, 15th, and 29th and we will host in Springhill Hall on the 8th and 22nd.  Please bring soup and bread to Springhill Hall on St. Paul’s nights to host.

Supper begins at 5:30, with worship to follow at 6:30.

St. Paul hosts a Friday night Bible study that is open to all.  Currently the group is meeting via Zoom.  For a Zoom invitation and a study guide, contact group facilitator Linda Kozak at lindakozak@gmail.com.

On March 25th we will be giving away, here at the church, blessing bags that include 5 or 10 pounds of rice and two cans of Spam, while supplies last.  In addition, there will be a free lunch of a hot dog or hamburger with chips.
